ECN100001 - GateKEEPER Bug - Over Temperature Ramp Response

Change Description

This affects GateKEEPER Firmware <2.0.1.

Changed the setting “Over Temperature Ramp End Temperature” to default to 105 degrees Celsius. Updated configurator metadata to allow “Over Temperature Ramp End Temperature” to be set correctly.

Change Reason

By default, the Over Temperature Ramp End Temperature is not set to a valid value compared to the Over Temperature Limit. If the Over Temperature Response is set to Power Ramp, the incorrect defaults triggers a Power Step response at 100 degrees Celsius.

The configurator tool has constraints set incorrectly, disallowing a valid Over Temperature Ramp End Temperature to be set.

Customer Effect

For GateKEEPER Firmware <2.0.1, if using Power Ramp, Over Temperature Ramp End Temperature must be explicitly set to be greater than Over Temperature Limit to have a valid response. This is patched in firmware ≥2.0.1.

For Configurator <1.4.1, the tool should be allowed internet access to fetch the new metadata OR the tool should be upgraded to version ≥1.4.1. This is patched in configurator ≥1.4.1.
